Bungalow House Plans are one of the most common built homes still today.  They will be found on larger city lots but are really popular for acreages and used as farmhouses. Bungalows are very convenient for the homeowner in that all living areas are on a single storey and there are no stairs between, except living areas.  Except for Bungalows with basements, a Bungalow is well suited to those who are mobility impaired, e.g., the elderly or those in wheelchairs.  Neighborhoods of only Bungalows offer more privacy than similar neighborhoods with two-storey houses.  With Bungalows, strategically planted trees and shrubs are usually sufficient to block the view of neighbors.  With two-storey houses, the extra height requires much taller trees to accomplish the same, and it may not be practical to place such tall trees close to the house to obscure the view from the second floor of the next door neighbor.    E-Designs House Plans offers Bungalows Without Garages and Bungalows with Garages.  You will find Bungalow House Plans  in our Narrow Lot Plans, Cottage Plans, Ranch Style Plans, House Plans with Angled Garages and House Plans with Walkout Basements.

  This 1146 Sq. Ft. bungalow has that old charming look with the pillars on the covered veranda. Enjoy your day sitting on the front veranda or the large deck in the rear. From the front entry the great room grabs your attention with the corner fireplace and open stairwell leading to the lower level. Nice "L"-shaped kitchen with a working island that includes a lunch counter. With large windows in the nook area the view over the rear deck and backyard is unobstructed. The laundry room is located off the kitchen. The guest room and the master bedroom are a nice size. The master has a three piece ensuite. The basement area is undeveloped except for the mechanical room. Lots of room for more bedrooms, family room, etc. This is nice and simple plan to build.

1211 Sq. Ft. Bungalow. A perfect plan for those narrow lots. All the rooms are a nice size for the square footage of this home. The living room features a gas fireplace and a railing by the basement stairs. The dining area is open to the living room and to the U-shape kitchen. The Master bedroom features a 3-piece ensuite and a walk-in closet. From the master bedroom you can access a small deck in the rear. The two spare bedrooms are a good size also. The basement has been left undeveloped so you can design it the way you would like. A great plan to build.

  1066 Sq. Ft. Bungalow.   Great looking home and floor plan. This is a simple design therefore it is also a cost effective home to build. Could easily be made into a Two Bedroom plan. The "L" shaped kitchen has room for all four appliances and also has a built-in pantry. The living room is a nice size. Even room for a future fireplace, etc.   The three piece bathroom also features space for a washer & dryer. All three bedrooms are a good size for this type of home. The open staircase in the dinette area leads to the full basement. The basement is undeveloped, so you could design it just the way you would like.

  768 Sq. Ft. Bungalow Cabin.   Simple in design but has all you'll need for that home at the lake. Two good sized bedrooms each with a closet. A three-piece bath with tub/shower combo. The utility room also has room for a stackable washer & dryer. The living room is a nice size with lots of natural light from the two windows. An "L" shaped kitchen has the room for three major appliances and room for a dining area.

  Perfect get away home.   This plan is easy to build with only four corners and a straight gable style roof. There are two nice-sized bedrooms, each with closets.   A three-piece bath is located by the bedrooms and studio area. The "L" shaped kitchen with an island is open to the rest of the home.   A wood burning stove in the living room will be great for cooler winter days.   A stackable washer/dryer will fit into closet by the 2-piece bath. There is an access to the crawl space from this bathroom. The rear door lead to the rear deck area.
