A Little About Us

A new home is a major investment, so the cost of a proper set of blueprints is a very a small investment to have your dreams put to paper properly. In fact you're more than likely to pay more for a bathtub than you will for a complete set of construction plans that you will need to completely build your new home.

Why do people seek out our company to bring there ideas to paper? Because we know construction, unlike a lot of designers who have learned their trade from a technical school, but have little or no practical experience in new home construction. With the knowledge on how a building comes together, this allows me (Jerry) to use the expertise needed to complete a set of working drawings that are easy to read, accurate and cost effective. E-Designs will work with you to bring your thoughts & ideas and turn them into a set of home plans that will take you from permit process, estimating, subtrades, etc., right to the finish.

We are a design company that knows the ins and outs of all aspects of the construction industry. We have been involved in this industry for more than 30 years. From building many custom homes and commercial buildings in the past, I have been involved in all aspects of the construction process for many years, from putting in foundations to framing, windows, siding, drywalling, custom cabinets and to complete finishing.

After leaving the construction side of the industry for health reasons but still wanting to stay connected, I became involved in the lumber sales business for 8 years. My primary focus was new home construction sales which had me involved in all the processes that are involved in building a new home. It was also about the time I became interested in the designing and drafting of new homes. So for the past 15 years, I have been designing new homes. And for the last 7 of those years, I have been designing new home plans full time for people all across Canada and the USA.
