Ranch Style House Plans, (also known as Rancher or Rambler) is uniquely a North American style of House Plan. Very similar to the Bungalow House Plans. The Ranch Style is noted for its long, close-to-the-ground profile. Lower pitched roofs and open floor plans with efficient use of space make the Ranch Style very popular today. They are very popular in the rural area mostly because of the available space. Today's Ranch Style House Plans use the traditional look of the "working ranch" home but incorporate some new ideas such as vaulted & coffered ceilings, Mud Rooms off the garage.
