1976 Sq.Ft.  Bungalow with WALK-OUT 
A very spacious open design home.  Features 10 foot ceilings on the main floor. The front foyer & part of the living room has a large Vaulted dormer reaching over 20 feet high in the centre. The 12 foot Elliptical window floods the main part of the home with natural lighting. This plan features large windows (88" high) to give a great view from all directions. Large decorative columns & arches form the outside edge of the living room. The open dining room with full view of the large country kitchen with walkin Pantry. No need to carry Groceries/Bottled Water, Etc up the stairs from the garage when you can use the lift (dumb waiter) from the lower level to directly to the  inside of your pantry. Double french doors lead into the Master bedroom with lots of room for a sitting area in the bay. Why have a Walkout Basement or Daylight Basement ?  A Walkout Basement House Plan is used when building your home on a steeper grade such as a small hillside, providing an unobstructed view of the landscape while allowing light to enter the lower level. Because most homes built in Canada and the northern States have full foundations and those built on properties that have a slope to it, the basement with the walkout section can have full sized windows & doors just like the floor(s) above. For example, if the ground slopes downwards towards the back of the house, the basement is at or above grade (ground level) at the back of the house. Where the basement is above grade, the foundation is deeper at that point and must still be below the frostline. Since a walk-out basement is considered more desirable to potential buyers than a standard below-ground basement, it can increase the overall value of the house substantially, and can be claimed as part of the total available square footage. Just about any plan can be made into a walkout basement.
