The master bedroom   features a large 4-piece ensuite and a walk-in closet. A 2-piece bath and laundry room are located off the wide hallway which leads to the oversized garage. The upper level is amazing as the sitting area is open to the lower floor and has an unsurpassed view to the outside through the rake head windows. A skylight in the sitting room will supply even more natural light.   Off the sitting area there is large 4-piece bath with a walk-in shower. For added convenience, a second laundry room is located next to the two large bedrooms, each having a large walk-in closet. With each bedroom having a dormer, it allows for full height ceilings and larger windows.   Access to extra storage space is provided in the attic. Back in the great room, proceed down the open staircase to the lower level and you enter into the games/media room. This huge play area is wide open with no support posts in the way. The front veranda is covered with double garden doors leading into the dining area. Nice big country style kitchen with small lunch counter, phone desk and loads of cabinet & counter space. A walk-in pantry is in between the kitchen and laundry area. The dining room is also open to the living room which has a corner wood burning stove for those cold winter days. Moving out to the peace and quiet of the country? Well, we probably have a house plan that you and your family can call home sweet home.  As far as a particular style of home being labelled a country home, (at least in western Canada) just about any style is used. By far, the most common design would be the Bungalow,   Ranch Style and the 2-Storey house plan. Because of extra building space available, you will see homes with 2-4 car attached garages, some of them placed on an angle to the house. A lot people will incorporate a Walkout or Daylight basement, and if the grade is not sloped enough, you will sometimes see retaining walls used. There are a lot of things that people put into the county home that the city dwellers do not, such as Oversized Garages with bigger doors, and for convenience, they put in a 2-piece bathroom in the garage. Even an access to the basement from the Garage (great for bringing in produce from the garden in the fall). On ranches you sometime see a Vet Room in the Garage. In the home, the most used area is the Kitchen and Dining area, so a large country style kitchen open to a dining area is used as that is where most of the day-to-day business is conducted, and where most of the entertaining is done. Large decks & verandas are very common.
