We have a lot of stock plans that come with an attached 3-car garage . Some are on an angle to the house, some are straight, and some have a bonus room above them, but it would seem that we always need more storage space for many reasons. As the family grows, the need for storage grows, especially for the extra bicycles, sports equipment, yard equipment, boat, quads, and more space for the extra vehicles.  As you can see with our stock home plans, there many different ways of attaching a garage.  When designing a home with a 2, 3, or even a 4-car garage attached, we try to design them so they will blend in more with the home and not have it look like a 3-car garage with a house attached. Things like offsetting one bay back 2 feet, changing the roof lines (False Gable, etc.), adding boxed out windows, using wider trims and maybe put some stone veneer on parts the garage.  We design most of our garages with double 10'x8' overhead doors. If you prefer a single door, we try and use an 18'x8' overhead door in a double car garage.  The problem with most plans that you find is that the garages are way too small.  Anyone with a full size pickup will know that it is tight fitting into a standard 9' wide door, and when they do get in, they cannot walk around the vehicle. If you have the room for a larger attached garage, whether it be a 1, 2, 3, or 4 car, make it large enough for today, but also for tomorrow.

Some may call this a Craftsman Style or a Country home . We call it a great looking home. With its multi roof lines, craftsman style tapered post and stone work, you can feel that country feeling. The trim around the windows, doors & garage doors bring out the classic look. The covered veranda, a great space to relax on. The large front foyer has a den off the left and to the right is a mudroom with a laundry area.   A large window here for natural lighting which is great as there is a walk through pantry from the garage to the kitchen. This country style kitchen has lots of counter and cabinet space plus a large working island with a lunch bar. The dining room has glass on three sides, including a garden door leading out to the rear deck. The open living room features a gas fireplace. Lots of room for storage and a work bench, etc. The basement is not developed except for a mechanical room so the possibilities are endless for you to design what you would like. This plan will look good on a large city lot, acreage, or on the farm.

Bi-Level with 3-Car Garage.    Great curb appeal in this cozy bi-level with a stylish craftsman post on the front.   A sunken front entry leads up to the main living area.   The living room, dining room, and kitchen are situated in an open-space practical concept and the dining room has garden doors leading onto the back deck.   An island features an eating bar in this conveniently designed kitchen.   The master bedroom is on the main floor with a 3-piece ensuite and walk-in closet.   Main floor laundry is also a great feature of this house.   Two additional bedrooms are located on the main floor as well.   Convert one to an office or den if you like.   This plan makes full use of the floor space, allowing for plenty of room where needed.   You will love the 3-car garage with one 10'x8' and one 18'x8' overhead door.   The basement is undeveloped so there are lots of options for additional space.

Bungalow with 3-Car Attached Garage .   This Bungalow has a gable roof line and a craftsman style post giving it character and curb appeal.   The front entry is covered.   The access from the garage comes through a mudroom.   The great room is open to the kitchen and dining room.   The "L" shaped kitchen has a corner pantry and small working island.   The dining area has a garden door leading to the rear deck, which is partially covered.   There are three bedrooms on this floor as well as a 3-piece bathroom.   The master bedroom has its own 4-piece ensuite and walk-in closet.   Downstairs, the basement plan features a game/media area, as well as an area for a recreation room.   There is one more bedroom, as well as a flex room, on this level, each with their own walk-in closet.   Another 3-piece bathroom exists on this level, plus the mechanical room.   A laundry room is accommodated as well as a storage room.   There is also a cold storage room off the game/media area.   This would be a great room to store vegetables, canning, or that wine collection.   Dad will love the oversized 3-car garage with large overhead doors and a rear man door.

2-Storey With Walkout Basement: Need lots of room? Then this is a great plan for you. The open design and abundance of windows, there is plenty of room to enjoy. The front with covered veranda and grand pillars give this plan a great curb appeal. Upon entering the front foyer you are greeted by the pillars and arches of the great room. Enter a little farther and see the fireplace surrounded by glass from the floor to the ceiling of the second floor. The "U" shaped kitchen has a working island and a lunch bar. Also a large walk-in pantry. The master bedroom has a double garden door leading onto the rear deck. There is a his & hers walk-in closet entering the 5-piece ensuite.
