With this 4-Plex design, keeping the construction costs down while not sacrificing any curb appeal is done by making a building simpler to build. You basically only have four corners in this building (except for the cantilever in the master bedroom). This makes every process easier in all phases of construction. The front entry is dropped to minimize the amount of steps to the front door. On the main floor, you have an L-shaped kitchen open to the dining and living room. A 2-piece bath is located next to a pantry or storage closet. There is room for a computer desk beside the stairs. On the second floor there are 2 large bedrooms. The master bedroom features a walk-in closet and a 3-piece ensuite bath. A linen closet is across from the 3-piece main bath. The laundry room is conveniently located on the same floor as the bedrooms. If you need more room, develop the unfinished basement. The basement has 36" high windows allowing for more natural lighting. With this design, renting should not be a problem.
